History

The Church of God of Prophecy is a vibrant, worldwide body of believers, united in worship, working hand-in-hand to share God’s love and a message of hope to the brokenhearted. The Church of God of Prophecy has over one-and-a-half million members, worshiping in over 10,000 churches our missions in 125 nations of the world. Nearly 90% of our global membership is outside of North America.

The Church of God movement began over one hundred years ago in the humble hearts of earnest believers in the rural mountains of Cherokee County, North Carolina. Following a miracle-filled revival that took place in a schoolhouse near Camp Creek in 1886, a small congregation formed a Christian Union to pray and study the scriptures.

Cogop OAM is a branch of the Church of God of Prophecy. It began as a group of Christians who believed that through prayer and with One Accord,  Christians could take the most difficult cases of life, to the Supreme Court of Heaven, and petition Jesus (the everlasting judge) to rule in our favour. This is the mandate and authority we have received from our Lord Jesus Christ Lk:10v19

Through prayer, we have witnessed the instant healing of a woman with kidney disease.

We have also petitioned Jesus through fervent prayer and witnessed the instant healing of a woman who was condemned to death by her doctors.

Remember, God is the final scripter of your life. He has the final say. He will certainly rule in your favour if you petition him fervently through prayer, fasting and obedience to his word. Deut7:7-9
